Catherine grew up near Cambridge and has a degree in languages from Durham University, UK (French and Italian) and fell in love with Italy on her Year Abroad as part of her degree- she lived and worked in Tuscany in Val d'Orcia at a beautiful villa and was captured by the culture, wine, views and food of course! Here she also had experience doing my first weddings. 

 

She is now based between the Amalfi Coast (summer) and UK (winter), often travelling around Italy with her half-English and half-Italian partner and she is proud to have built up great connections across the whole of Italy.

She previously worked for another agency based on the Amalfi Coast, until she decided to become self-employed and set up The Wedding Boutique Italy. She wanted to offer a more bespoke, attentive and personal service to her clients to really create something special for them- rather than just re-producing the same ideas over and over. She wanted to offer beautiful, personalised weddings executed with taste and professionalism.

 

Catherine is the Creative Director for our wedding and will be responsible for all aspects and design of the wedding including managing the team and creating all floral designs.
